Purpose

The Purchasing Pricing Analysis Analyst is given the responsibility to assist in coordinating the planning, development, and execution of a variety of pricing related projects and tasks. The Analyst requires a superb attention to detail as well as an understanding of department processes and procedures. This position will assist with the development of reports on a variety of topics and will be responsible for assisting with process mapping and project planning to ensure deadlines are met. The Analyst will liaise with multiple stakeholders within the business, as well as external business partners, such as Suppliers and Service Providers.

Responsibilities

● Assist, track, and report on Pricing processes and tasks in a deadline-driven environment
● Assist with designing, implementing, and carrying out processes and improvements defined by the Pricing & Buying Systems Team
● Assist with the development of training materials such as manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams, workflows, and project plans
● Prepare, document, and lead status meetings with various teams
● Carry out research, analysis, testing, and liaise with internal and external teams to source relevant data
● Ensure quality standards are met by maintaining a high level attention to detail and following verification measures set by the team
● Maintain and assist the development of training materials (manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams, workflows, project plans) with a high level of accuracy
● Respond effectively to changing workloads and conflicting priorities
● Escalate problems proactively to Manager in a timely manner
● Assist with training or guiding the work of other team members on occasion
● Ability to identify, explain, and resolve data issues
● Report system issues with applicable department (external service providers, Lidl International, internal teams)
● Oversees and manages assigned project and/or departments data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements
● Conduct data entry and data management for various department projects
● Perform other duties as assigned

About You

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
● Ability to work independently


Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
● Experience in Looker, MicroStrategy, Databricks, or related software applications
● SQL Experience
● German language skills


Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
● Bachelor’s degree
● 1-3 years of experience in a related field
● In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related

 

 

 

Physical Requirements

● Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
● Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
