Summary

Support the Product Development team in the overall product development and design process for toys, from initial concept through to sample handling in accordance with the company’s strategic timelines. 

Coordinate and track product development milestones with factories, Merchandising, Quality Assurance and European buying teams. 

What you'll do

The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his/her superior: 

• Workflow & Admin Tracking: Track and monitor the status of the toy product development workflow, ensuring all critical deadlines are met.
• Factory Coordination: Discuss and follow up with factories on toy product specifications, price quotations, and technical requirements.
• Trend & Design Research: Support the team in performing a range of research into new toy trends, market innovations, product ideas, and manufacturing technologies.
• Benchmarking & Presentations: Perform product benchmarking activities, analyzing and formulating results into commercial offer presentations with price quotes for buyers at the EU Headquarter.
• Sample & Showroom Management: Organize the handling, storage, and tracking of samples; prepare the showroom for range presentations and support the preparation and coordination of stakeholder meetings.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate actively with internal Merchandising and Quality Assurance teams regarding the technical, aesthetic, and engineering aspects of toy development.
• Ad-hoc Support: Provide dynamic support on any ad-hoc projects and creative assignments when necessary. 

What you'll need

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related discipline preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years of product development or design experience in toys or kids products. Experience with kids' licensed products is a strong advantage.
• Language Skills: Proficient in both spoken and written English.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Google Workspace (particularly Slides, Sheets and Gemini); strong graphic and design skills with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop are highly preferable; familiarity with Solidworks or similar CAD software is an asset.
