Summary

As a key member of our SDA Kitchen, Power Tools, or Furniture team, you will play a vital role in driving the merchandising process for your assigned category. Working in close partnership with various internal departments, you will assist in the end-to-end order process to ensure products reach our global markets on time and to the highest standards. 

You will provide essential operational support, acting as a reliable link between our suppliers and our cross-functional teams to support thousands of Lidl and Kaufland stores globally. This role is based in our brand-new, premium, eco-friendly office at Airside, Kai Tak.

Objectives of this position:
●       Assist in the order process.
●       Provide assistance to the Merchandising team.

What you'll do

●    Contributes on the evaluation and monitor the factories for continuous improvement and business development
●    Follow up on the sampling process 
●    Assist on quotations, price analysis and price negotiations with supplier 
●    Assist the order allocation process from confirmation to shipment 
●    Assist monitoring the end to end process and critical path management within the merchandising team and through day to day liaison with supply chain and supporting departments 

What you'll need

●    Tertiary level education.
●    With merchandising  experience or supply-chain related experience is an advantage.
●    Good command of written and spoken English & Mandarin, additional languages would be beneficial.
●    Problem solving skills, with the ability to seek advice when required.
●    Good working attitude, willing to learn, and a good team player.
●    Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace (specifically Excel/Sheets and Power Point/Slides).
●    Fresh graduates with a relevant degree will also be considered.
