Summary

Lidl & Kaufland Asia is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Intern to join our team for a 6-month period. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruiting within a dynamic, fast-paced international retail environment. You will support the Talent Acquisition team in attracting high-caliber talent and maintaining a positive candidate experience.

  • Providing administrative and sourcing support to the TA team and Hiring Managers.
  • Assisting in sourcing and screening candidates to increase the percentage of direct hires.
  • Supporting the maintenance and optimisation of recruitment processes and acting as an ambassador for the Lidl brand.

What you'll do

  • Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements on various platforms.
  • Actively source and identify potential candidates using various channels (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, internal database).
  • Conduct initial screening of resumes and assist with scheduling interviews.
  • Support the TA team with general recruitment administration, including tracking candidate progress and managing data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Supporting the logistics and execution of the annual Graduate Trainee Recruitment Program.
  • Be an ambassador for Lidl & Kaufland’s Employer Brand

What you'll need

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree with an Upper Second Class/higher or GPA score of at least 3.0
  • Fluency in English whilst Cantonese, Mandarin and German are advantageous
  • Driven and passionate with ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Proactive, driven, and passionate about starting a career in Talent Acquisition or Hu-man Resources.
  • Highly organised, detail-minded, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Previous internship or part-time experience in an office or corporate setting is a plus, but not essential.
