Summary

Lidl & Kaufland Asia are hiring a Regulatory Supply Chain Manager to lead the Regulatory Supply Chain Management team to ensure adherence to our supply chain com-pliance policies and implementation of related programs (e.g. ACT) across our supply chain.

What you'll do

Standards 
•    Ensure standards are in place to support safe and ethical working conditions across our factory base (incl. sustainable purchasing policies, trainings, audit protocols)
•    Maintain our factory audit standard and ensure relevant stakeholders are enabled to im-plement them
•    Oversee processes and systems related to certifications from our factory base (e.g. BSCI, Better Work, Higg FEM)
•    Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company and reflect necessary changes in standards and processes. Assess opportunities, risks and trends in current and new sourcing countries and advise the business on required due diligence
•    Establish and build relationships with governing bodies, NGO’s and industry associations to further the goals and the transparency of the Lidl Compliance Program. 

 

Due dilicence 
•    Ensures all factory engagement occurs in line with Lidl’s strict Ethical Sourcing Policies
•    Guide the team on investigations, remediation and follow up actions related to breaches identified across our supply chain 
•    Roll out and monitor due diligence tools with a team of local auditors and third parties (incl. compliance audits, spot checks, worker surveys)
•    Implement pilot programs to test new due diligence approaches 


Analysis, reporting, review
•    Assess the business’ future ventures (new products, materials) to identify possible Supply Chain risks including conducting Human Risk Impact Assessment where necessary. 
•    Together with the data analyst, set up dashboards, trend analysis and reports for Senior Management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate
•    Continuously evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them. Periodically, revise procedures, reports etc. to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues 
•    Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that Ethical Sourcing Policies and procedures are followed.

What you'll need

•    Minimum 5-7 years’ experience working in the field of social and environmental compli-ance, ideally with experience in sourcing countries 
•    Bachelor Degree holder or above, major in Social Sciences, Law, Management or related discipline. Certified compliance professional is a plus 
•    Proven experience as Manager of a team
•    In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations 
•    A proactive problem solver with “can-do” attitude that challenges the status quo
•    Excellent knowledge of procedures and record keeping 
•    A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality 
•    Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities 
•    An analytical mind able to “see” the complexities of procedures and regulations 
•    Excellent communication skills with a good command of English both verbally and writ-ten a must (Mandarin is a plus, but no requirement)
