Summary
Lidl & Kaufland Asia are hiring a Senior Product Developer to join our product development - Small domestic appliances team. The successful candidate will be responsible for below tasks,
• Contribute to developing new products and improving existing ones
• Coordinate and execute daily development with collaborating teams
• Prepare internal sales materials for the customer
• Follow up the development process and manage the fulfilment independently
What you'll do
• Independently design and conduct product development
• Conduct market research on product trends of SDA
• Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing teams and factories regarding product development
• Contribute to innovation within the department
• Coordinate daily development with teams in Asia and EU Headquarter
• Present the offer and range in a professional way to the customer
• Bring in your own ideas and passion into the products
What you'll need
• Degree in Design or related discipline preferred
• Significant and relevant experience in product development
• Good sense of market trends
• Familiar with MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel). Beneficial if familiar with Solidworks (or similar CAD software), Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
• Proficient in both spoken and written English, additional language skills in Mandarin, German and Cantonese are beneficial
• Experience with AI, PS and renderings programmes
• Experience with European companies/markets/designs
• Beneficial if factory experience/having experience dealing with suppliers in SDA.
• Able to work under pressure, result oriented and self-motivated
• Able to work independently as well as with cross functional team
• Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
