Summary

The objective of the position is to facilitate sourcing, maintenance & development of relationships between the company and vendors. This position has a key role to centralize strategy deployment & monitoring within the division in collaboration with the sourcing teams located in sourcing countries.

What you'll do

•    Strategic sourcing/vendor management tactic deployment to Country Sourcing to drive sourcing efficiency, productivity, vendor performance & country diversity
•    Support Country Sourcing development including process & system training, review and guidance.
•    Build a strategic foundation and tools to drive the future of our vendor management
•    Ensure sourcing decisions are consistent, scalable, and in line with company goals  
•    Provide on-going training to Country Sourcing for knowledge retention.
•    Collaborate with cross functional Department & facilitate Country Sourcing in final validation of onboard and final data validation for maintenance in system.
•    Support preparation of sourcing related performance report to drive pool development.
•    Consolidate market information related to sourcing/vendor management from countries 
•    Participate and support on IT projects deployments when required.
•    Support new /ad hoc tasks & projects when required.

What you'll need

•    The position requires an academic degree or diploma in purchasing/ business related discipline. 
•    Your own vision – this is a role for someone who wants to build, lead, and make a real impact.
•    Extensive sourcing experience with proven record of leading a team 
•    Strong network with sourcing markets 
•    Knowledge on compliance and sustainability programs 
•    With experiences of retail business operations, preferably in European organizations.
•    Background and experience in Sourcing & Merchandising is a plus.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
•    Excellent proficiency in MS Excel.
•    Strong organizational & problem-solving skills, work independently, self-motivated and detail oriented.
•    A good team player and an individual contributor can work to deadlines, priorities tasks and work well under pressure. 
•    Good command of written & spoken English is a must.
•    Travel may be required.
