Then apply for our two-year graduate scheme, which commences in August 2026, and become a part of our Country Management team to play a pivotal role in identifying and establishing supplier relationships in new and evolving sourcing markets to further analyse and evaluate potentials for Lidl & Kaufland Asia.
What you'll do
During your placement, you will work in our SG office and your rotations will be exposed to the following areas within the business:
Market Entry Strategy
• Conduct in-depth research to understand the local supplier landscape, industry clusters, and export capabilities relevant to Lidl & Kaufland product categories.
• Map out supply chain infrastructure, key trade bodies, and local regulatory requirements.
Supplier Identification & Evaluation
• Identify potential suppliers aligned with Lidl & Kaufland’s quality, compliance and sustainability standards.
• Conduct initial capability assessments through desktop research & virtual meetings
Onboarding & Integration:
• Guide new suppliers through the full onboarding process, ensuring compliance with Company’s policies, ethical sourcing standards and technical requirements
• Prepare market analysis reports, supplier evaluations, and onboarding documentation for internal decision-making.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with internal teams (quality assurance, logistics, compliance, merchandising) to ensure smooth integration of new suppliers into existing supply chains.

What you'll need
- Graduates of 2026 or recent graduates with up to 1 year working experience
- Bachelor’s degree with an Upper Second Class/higher or GPA score of at least 3.0 with major, including but not limited to: Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Global Procurement & Strategic Sourcing or Product / General Engineering
- Enthusiasm for working in the dynamic sourcing industry, any previous experience in sourcing or business development being highly advantageous
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Creativity in problem-solving and strong analytical ability
- An appetite for an ambitious career and the ability to adapt to new situations within a fast-paced environment
