Summary

The objective of the position is to lead the Employment Law & HR Compliance function, this is a single contributor role. The holder of the position is responsible for ensuring compliance with laws and internal guidelines for HR related topics. To this end, he/she is responsible for setting up and operating an appropriate and effective HR compliance management system (CMS HR program). The holder of the position is also responsible for the HR policies and supports the team on efficient processes across HR. Furthermore the holder of the position will be advising and supporting labour law related issues and tasks, in cooperation with the legal councils across Asia. 

What you'll do

  • Implementation of CMS HR Program by integrating the CMS HR program into daily operations to minimize compliance risks and in alignment with our Headquarter organization
  • Applying measures to control and mitigate HR compliance risks effectively.
  • Overseeing the CMS HR program and managing HR compliance within the organization. Identifying and addressing HR compliance risks, coordinating preventive measures across departments.
  • Compliance Assurance through enforcing adherence to internal policies, standards, and legal regulations.
  • Educating employees about legal and internal obligations to promote compliant behavior.
  • Managing employment law matters and regularly updating company personnel documents, eg work contracts.
  • Handling labor court proceedings (with external lawyers) and providing legal support for HR-related actions.
  • Process Responsibility (ARIS): Ensuring adherence to international HR standards and internal guidelines. Coordinating HR processes considering legal, economic, and cultural factors. Utilizing HR process models in ARIS and promoting procedural thinking and action.
  • Working through ARIS with the HR team on simplification and efficiency projects 

What you'll need

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in a related role
  • Employment Law degree or similar
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and communications skills
  • Able to work independently and proactively, very high level of attention to detail
  • Collaborative communicator with good interpersonal and stakeholder management skill
  • Very good command of both written and spoken English is essential
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of efficiency
  • Knowledge of German language skills is optional in order to communicate with stakeholders in Germany headquarter but not essential.
  • Experience working for different countries in Asia would be a bonus
