The objective of the position is to deliver projects that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
To drive the successful delivery of the Data Transparency Program—a strategic digital transformation initiative centered on the greenfield implementation of a Cloud Data & Analytics platform—the Project Manager will play a pivotal leadership role.
This position demands full ownership of day‑to‑day project execution, proactive cross‑team coordination, and unwavering delivery accountability from the business side. The Project Manager will work in close partnership with IT and vendor project managers, ensuring that all milestones are not only achieved on time but also delivered to the highest standards of quality.
What you'll do
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:
- Lead full lifecycle project delivery for the Data Lakehouse program, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Coordinate execution of deliverables across business, IT, and vendor teams with clear accountability.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, RAID logs, resource trackers, and timelines.
- Enforce governance standards and ensure all documentation is accurate, consistent, and audit‑ready.
- Facilitate business requirements gathering, workshops, UAT planning, and change request processes.
- Drive proactive follow‑ups on open items, decisions, and action points to maintain momentum.
- Prepare and deliver executive‑level updates, dashboards, weekly meeting and steering committee materials.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and resources independently, preventing scope creep and mitigating risks.
- Identify risks and issues early, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate when necessary.
- Oversee procurement and administrative processes to support smooth project operations.
- Champion change management and user onboarding, ensuring adoption and stakeholder engagement.
- Act as the central liaison between Vendor PMs, Cross Function Team, and internal business stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations up to C‑Level executives, ensuring transparency and confidence in delivery.
- Continuously improve project management practices, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Foster a high‑performance team culture, driving engagement and delivering outputs that exceed user expectations.
What you'll need
- University graduate or above in Computer Science or related disciplines
- PMP certification preferred; Scrum Master or agile project experience is an advantage.
- Minimum 8 years experience of IT project implementation/project delivery experience, with at least 2 full-cycle implementations in digital/data/BI transformation projects.
- Strong track record of managing medium to large complex projects independently.
- Proven experience coordinating or managing greenfield technology implementations, ideally with GCP, MicroStrategy, or similar platforms.
- A firm understanding of software development methodologies. including hands-on experience with Google Workspace tools would be beneficial.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lead and manage others.
- Ability to multi-task across projects with different priorities
- Mature, self-starter, able to work under pressure and long hours.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
