Summary
The objectives of the position are
• Assist Senior Treasury Manager in performing complex financial and corporate treasury duties and serving as a critical backup to other Treasury team members.
• Responsible for the timely preparation of consolidated treasury reports, financial analyses, and executive-level summaries
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Manage monetary transactions and liquidity for all entities
• Manage banking relationships and documentation for multiple jurisdictions
• Contribute in developing and implementing harmonised financial policies across all Group entities
What you'll do
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:
• Prepare and process multi-currency payment instructions using SAP and FIS, as well as applicable online banking systems ensuring accuracy and timely execution of all transactions
• Reconcile bank account statements in Treasury Management System (TMS)
• Prepare detailed cashflow forecasts and reports for strategic liquidity planning purposes
• Execute and perform required tasks in TMS such as hedging requests, monitoring intercompany loans, managing money market deposits, and tracking interest rates and limits monitoring.
• Process cheque requests (issue petty cash cheques, obtain signatures)
• Act as a key liaison with local and international banks, manage all required banking documentation and maintain banking relationships
• Perform required finance tasks for month-end closing such as cash-in-transit/auto-bank posting clearing and bank reconciliation
• Respond to complex vendor and treasury audit enquiries
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with Group policy and accepted accounting and finance practices
• Assist in design and development of financial policies, procedures and system development
• Prepare comprehensive finance reports and analytics for management review
• Handle ad hoc assignments as required
What you'll need
• University graduate in Accounting or Finance and with a recognised professional accounting or corporate treasury qualification
• Minimum 2 years working experience in corporate treasury is a must
• Excellent understanding of Accounts Payable bookkeeping is a must
• Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Google Sheets and other Google Workspace applications
• Understanding of supply chain-financing payment process is an advantage
• Well-organised, self-motivated, detail-minded, independent and able to work under pressure
• Working knowledge of accounting software, SAP is mandatory
• A good understanding of data privacy standards
• Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
• A good team player and willingness to learn
