Objectives

• To ensure efficient and timely financial reporting, treasury management, taxation and regulatory compliance.  
• To actively participate in driving efficiency in finance and business processes, internal control and risk management, and promoting industry best practices.

What you'll do

The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his/her superior: 

• To ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping and reporting of financial transactions  
• To prepare periodic financial and analytical reports for monitoring and decisions making 
• To review all invoices to be processed, ensuring adequate procedures and internal controls are in place 
• To ensure accuracy and completion of accounting entries 
• To maintain and update relevant documentation for accounting, banking, taxation & regulatory compliance, and vendor master data 
• To manage local audits, in coordination with the parent company and any appointed consultants 
• To liaise with appointed accounting and tax consultants for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements including income tax, VAT, and other relevant laws 
• To consistently seek improvement areas to drive efficiency, increase value addition and safeguard business interests of the company 

What you'll need

• Professional Accounting Qualification: CA - CC with part qualification (minimum 1000 marks passed preferable) 
• Professional English language proficiency 
• At least 2 years of relevant, practical experience in multinational companies and/or leading accounting firms/consulting firms  
• Able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and technical know-how on Accounting and related Compliance topics 
• Committed, dedicated, hard working mentality to meet all corporate reporting deadlines 
• Sincere, honest and ethical 
• Experience in leading a team towards achieving corporate objectives is an added advantage 
• Independent and self motivated for taking proactive development initiatives
• Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Google Workspace 
• Knowledge and experience in SAP is essential
