For our Head office in Sofia, located in Garitage Park, we are looking for an inspiring and strategic Head of Learning & Onboarding to lead our Development & Engagement unit. In this crucial leadership role, you will shape the way our employees learn, grow, and integrate into our dynamic work environment. You will drive both international and national learning concepts and ensure a seamless, high-quality onboarding experience across the company.

What will you do?

Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop your team in the spirit of corporate management principles, fostering a motivating work atmosphere and continuous professional growth.
  • Manage operational HR tasks for your team, including goal setting, performance dialogues, hiring, and resource planning.
  • Ensure strict adherence to legal norms, internal company policies, and the HR Compliance Management System (CMS), acting as a role model for regulatory compliance.

Task Description

  • Further development, localization and implementation of international and national learning concepts.
  • Central implementation and management of national onboarding standards and processes until employees are fully operational, including KPI tracking, system deployment and close cooperation with the Talent Acquisition department.
  • National operation of learning systems and technologies, including SuccessFactors (SF) Learning, e.g. implementation of releases, further development, local testing.
  • Planning and tracking return on investment for key learning projects.

Scope of Responsibility

  • Responsibility for the employee experience during the onboarding and training phase.
  • Responsibility for the implementation of mandatory training by all employees in the company.
  • Responsibility for cost and budget planning and adherence for training courses and development measures.
  • Responsibility for compliance with legal and internal company requirements in the onboarding processes 
  • Responsibility for tracking all training and development initiatives in SF Learning.

What do we expect from you?

  • Education: Mandatory university degree.
  • Professional Expertise: At least 7 years of experience in the further development and implementation of learning and onboarding concepts.
  • Leadership Experience: At least 3 years of proven leadership experience within a corporate environment.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing projects in the field of Learning & Development.
  • Domain Expertise: In-depth knowledge in the area of learning, including in person and digital training as well as current market trends and innovations in L&D and onboarding.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of Learning Management Systems (e.g., SF Learning) would be considered a strong advantage.
  • Languages: Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Bulgarian; knowledge of German would be considered an advantage.
