To support our continued success and growth in Bulgaria, we are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our Headquarters team in Garitage Park, Sofia
What will you do?
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of talent acquisition strategy, working closely with stakeholders to ensure it supports long‑term organizational goals.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and scale the HQ Talent Acquisition team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous professional development.
- Process & Innovation: Design and implement efficient Talent Acquisition projects and internal recruitment procedures that ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Vendor & Partnership Management: Build, evaluate, and manage strategic partnerships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and other key vendors to effectively support hiring needs.
- Manager Training & Consulting: Coach hiring managers to ensure high standards in the recruitment process.
- Candidate Experience: Continuously analyze and optimize the end-to-end candidate journey, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Lidl’s values and employer brand.
- Trusted Advisor to Leadership: Act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior hiring managers. Support high-level interviews, design assessment centers.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Lidl when necessary as a key employer ambassador at major job fairs, university partnerships, networking initiatives etc.
- Budget Management: Plan, manage, and optimize the annual Talent Acquisition budget, ensuring maximum ROI on job boards, agencies, and recruitment campaigns.
- Data-Driven Success: Monitor Talent Acquisition metrics as Time-to-Hire, Quality of Hire etc, and leverage data to drive continuous improvement.
What do we expect from you?
- Educational & Professional Background: A university degree and at least 10 years of solid experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment.
- Proven Leadership Experience: At least 7 years of experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams within a large corporate or multinational environment.
- Recruitment Expertise: Demonstrated ability to strategically manage end-to-end recruitment processes in a large multinational company for at least 3 years.
- Project Management Skills: A strong track record of leading HR/Recruitment projects, optimizing processes, and delivering results on time and within budget.
- Outstanding Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical abilities.
- Language Proficiency: Strong command of English, both written and spoken; knowledge of German is a strong advantage.
- Tech-Savvy & Adaptable: Proficiency with Google Workspace (and modern ATS platforms) and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment.
