We are seeking a detail oriented, highly motivated, and innovative Data Analyst. As a key member of the Controlling & Analytics team, the Data Analyst will be responsible for the creation, delivery, and analysis on a variety of different projects and creation of analytic models. 

 

What you'll do

  • You will advocate, convert, and build data-fuelled solutions that help our stakeholders improve strategic decision making
  • You’ll dig in and become an expert in our data sets
  • You will provide insight into leading analytic practices, design and lead development cycles, and ultimately produce analytic solutions that will become part of our core business
  • You will work with cross-functional team members to identify high-impact insights across a variety of core business areas
  • You will research, design and validate diverse sources of data to achieve targeted outcomes
  • You will support the Data Analytics manager on projects and system maintenance 

What you'll need

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • A passion for / understanding of complex datasets and the challenges they bring
  • Degree or Masters in a related field
  • Be a collective team player with excellent interpersonal/ communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and to lead and drive complex operational initiatives
  • Natural inquisitiveness and ability to ask the right questions
  • Motivated/ self-starter
  • Experience with BI tools, eg. Tableau, MicroStrategy, PowerBI
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VBA coding essential
  • Python
  • SQL
  • SAP (Advantage)
  • Hadoop based data mining (Advantage)
