We are seeking a highly motivated, organised and analytical Demand Planner to join our Fruit, Vegetables, Plants & Flowers team. The Demand Planner will work closely with Buyers and various internal and external parties and will be responsible for ordering and maintaining stock levels of fruit and vegetables for Lidl's warehouses.
What you'll do
- Ordering Fruit and Vegetables and maintaining stock levels in all four warehouses, including supply chain & logistics management
- Identifying trends and adjusting ordering strategies accordingly
- Demand planning for future promotions including substitute stock management
- Liaising with internal customers to ensure maximum availability in all stores
- Ensuring accurate and up to date item information is communicated to all stores and relevant departments daily
- Communicating daily with all Goods In departments with regards to quality control on incoming delivers and standing stock
- Purchase Order maintenance & item data maintenance across various platforms
- Reporting on key performance indicators on a weekly basis
- Maintaining positive and collaborative relationships with our business partners, both nationally and internationally
- Project management across specific areas / seasonal events
What you'll need
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role
- Third level degree advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Structured work ethic with an ability to work to strict deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Enthusiastic and motivated with an ability to innovate
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in retail and/or Fresh Produce is beneficial
- German is beneficial

- €51,000 rising to €65,000 after 3 years
