Legal and Compliance 

Our Legal & Compliance department operates as an in-house advisory partner to the entire business across both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. We protect the business, manage legal risk, and ensure operational compliance in a fast-paced retail environment. 

During your programme within the Legal & Compliance department, you will get hands-on experience in:

  • Act as a proactive legal partner, collaborating daily with departments across the business such as Buying, Marketing, Logistics and Supply Chain. You will help solve operational challenges, review campaigns, and support high-profile commercial initiatives. 
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Conduct in-depth research into complex legal issues, EU directives, statutory regulations to provide actionable advice.
  • Proactively monitor legislative changes, regulatory developments, and market trends across ROI and NI to assess impact and ensure business readiness.
  • Ensure GDPR/Data Protection compliance, and support regulatory audits.
  • Navigate complex legal environments across two distinct jurisdictions (ROI and NI).
  • Support the operation of an adequate and effective Compliance Management System. 

What you'll need

  • An expected or attained 2.1 Honours Level 8 degree in Law (BCL / LL.B) or a related discipline (e.g., Business Law, Legal Studies, Risk Management) 
  • Full driver’s licence is required
  • Flexibility to travel or relocate within Ireland is required
  • Motivation and drive
  • Strong personal skills
  • Work experience or experience abroad
  • German is an advantage but not a necessity
