We are seeking a highly motivated individual with previous leadership experience to join our Finance & Accounting Team. As a Department Manager in Accounts, you will be responsible for the strategic, operational and personnel management for an Accounts team. This role reports to the Finance, Accounting & Tax Director.

What you'll do

  • Management of the daily business of an accounts team ensuring all work is complete and accurate adhering to defined deadlines and reporting of relevant KPIs.
  • Developing, motivating, and guiding an accounts team, ensuring they have the skills, resources and management supports to perform their tasks to the best of their abilities
  • Project management of Accounts, Tax and Finance projects.
  • Implementation of process optimisation and digitalisation measures.
  • Management of key systems including release testing and technical queries.

What you'll need

  • Third-level degree in relevant field desirable
  • Qualification in Finance / Accounting / Business desirable but not essential
  • ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA qualification desirable
  • Minimum 3 years management experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and time management skills
  • Flexible with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent project management skills with an ability to set and achieve goals, meet deadlines and multi-task.
  • Experience of Google workspace desirable.
  • Willingness to travel
