We are seeking a motivated and eager Quality & Sustainability Co-ordinator, with high attention to detail to join our Programmes & Standards team within our Quality & Sustainability Department. You will be responsible for data analysing, reporting, identifying opportunities for improvements and stakeholder engagement. We are looking for someone who can effectively communicate with internal and external parties in a positive and professional manner while learning and proactively supporting in a fast-paced environment. The primary focus of the role will be sustainability topics regarding products and suppliers but you will also have the opportunity to work on product quality and safety topics.

 

The objective of this role is to carry out duties to a high standard with emphasis on continuous improvement and high performance. 

 

What you'll do

  • Supporting the execution of Lidl’s ‘A Better Tomorrow’ sustainability strategy, across 6 key strategic pillars: Protecting Climate, Respecting Biodiversity, Acting Fairly, Promoting Health, Engaging in Dialogue and Conserving Resources.
  • Compliance with legal regulations, internal guidelines and standards to enhance quality, efficiency and output.
  • Management of KPI tracker - updating, data analysis and identifying opportunities for improvements to ensure compliance with regulations and transparency in achieving targets and commitments.
  • Supporting in the development and coordination of sustainability and packaging projects.
  • Prepare reports for management to track strategic goal accomplishment.
  • Identifying areas for improving sustainability practices across the business.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

What you'll need

  • A third-level degree is essential in a relevant discipline (Sustainability, packaging technology, food science, science, engineering etc.).
  • Good organisational, analytical and data management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and quick to adapt to complex situations.
  • A full driving licence is beneficial.
  • Team-oriented personality with the ability to work independently.
