Lidl's Audit department is responsible for ensuring all areas of our business adhere to the correct company procedures.
As a Senior Audit Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth process & procedural audits throughout Ireland & Northern Ireland. In addition, you will assist with the day-to-day running of the department. You will be a self-starter who is adept at successfully coordinating large audit programmes through collaboration with Lidl International, Lidl Ireland Departments, Stores & Regional Distribution Centres.
What you'll do
- Providing independent Departmental, Store & Warehouse operational evaluations
- Identifying risks and issues against clearly defined processes & evaluation criteria
- Planning and conducting internal audits across IE & NI based on business risks
- Coordinating multi-site assessments utilising team member assistance when required
- Audit report writing for distribution to Senior Management
- Analysing and presenting audit results to senior stakeholders
- Follow-up to ensure corrective measures are completed & risks have been addressed
- Review, evaluate and risk assess new business processes
What you'll need
- Experienced Senior Project Manager / Department Manager / Process Owner with demonstrated procedure or compliance knowledge
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint
- Proven analytical & interpersonal skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Strong time management & organisational skills
- German proficiency is highly advantageous
- Flexible and willing to travel within Ireland / Northern Ireland
- Full driving licence is essential
