Lidl is setting a new bar (literally!) for retail, and we’re doing it right here in Northern Ireland. We’re opening our first-ever bar and need a high-energy leader to hit the ground running! We're looking for a manager who can build a winning team, keep spirits high, and ensure a successful launch for this exciting new venture.

What you'll do

  • Managing daily operations, including opening and closing the venue, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
  • Leading a team through recruitment, training, mentoring, and organising staff work planners
  • Handling all stock ordering, regular inventory counts and manage deliveries
  • Monitoring budgets, managing cash flow, meeting sales targets
  • Handling customer feedback and grievances professionally, and personally serving guests to ensure high satisfaction
  • Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations, food safety, and licensing laws

What you'll need

  • Previous experience working as a Bar Manager (desirable)
  • Ability to help and perform duties like drink mixing, table service, and cleaning when needed
  • Knowledge of products being sold
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Familiarity with licensing laws and compliance
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, retail environment

What you'll receive

We offer a competitive and transparent salary system, that ensures pay equality across all positions at Lidl 

  • £30,000 rising to £39,000 after 3 years
  • 29 days holidays per annum rising to 34 days after 2 years (pro rata, including Bank Holidays)
