Wat ga je doen?

As a Warehouse Technician, you are responsible for keeping all installations operational in our large-scale, partially automated fulfillment center in Venlo. You always ask yourself whether things can be done better, faster, and more efficiently. Your team manager values your input, and together you will put it into practice.

Your responsibilities include:

Independently locating, analyzing, and resolving mechanical and electrical faults on our internal transport and storage systems (such as robots, conveyor belts, sorting systems, and packaging machines).

• Guiding operators who operate the sorting machine during the daily process.

• Maintaining contacts with relevant software suppliers and reporting issues to them.

• Managing and improving the large inventory of spare parts.

• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance to keep downtime in the logistics process to a minimum.

• Checking and adjusting circuit diagrams and PLC-controlled systems.

• Guiding and supervising external technicians and suppliers during complex projects.

• Actively contributing ideas for process improvements to enhance efficiency and workplace safety.

Wie ben jij?

• You hold a completed vocational diploma (MBO level 3 or 4) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar technical field.

• You (preferably) have relevant work experience in a logistics or production environment with automated systems.

• Knowledge of control technology (PLC, Siemens S7) and experience with mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics is a strong advantage.

• You have strong analytical skills, are stress-resistant, and can work both independently and as part of a team.

• You are flexible and willing to work in shift patterns (including evening, night, and weekend shifts).
