Our Head Office Controlling & Analytics department is looking for a proactive, passionate and driven professional to join our team on a 21-month fixed term contract. 
The Controlling & Analytics team at Lidl GB is fundamental in supporting executive management and operational departments with the essential data and insights to enable targeted management of all business processes. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and mapping departmental processes, supporting the team on various projects, and handling essential administrative coordination. Alongside a proficiency in the German language, we are looking for a forward-thinking individual with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and proficiency in digital tools like Google Sheets and Docs to help us deliver high-quality results.

What you'll do

  • Responsible for monitoring and mapping departmental processes in Controlling
  • Supporting the team on projects and daily tasks
  • Coordination of colleague and departmental travel/meetings
  • Departmental Coordination and Administration
  • Administration of internal Project Board
  • Contact person for International Colleagues for admin topics
  • Key user responsibilities for various administrative tools

What you'll need

  • German language skills are required
  • Experience in a similar position is advantageous
  • Previous experience working in a support function for a business
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to deliver accurate results
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Great communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets, Docs and more
  • A self-motivated and proactive individual with a can-do attitude and the ability to work on projects and solve problems independently
  • Able to deliver the final product reliably and organised to consistently high standards
