Everyone who works at Lidl brings something unique to the table - but we also have a whole lot in common. We’re motivated, commercially aware and ready to take on any challenge.

Just like you.

The Customer Insights & Experience (CIX) Department is at the heart of driving customer centricity throughout the business. From Board members and Head Office to our Distribution Centres and Stores, the Customer Insights & Experience Department has a track record of successfully informing key decision makers on what shoppers and competitors think, say and do. All of this within a collaborative and high performance environment in a fast paced industry where no two days are truly ever the same.

We are looking to expand the teams’ influence further with a Senior Customer Insights Manager to lead on all Shopper and Market Insight topics, identify new solutions to Lidl’s challenges, and help us achieve our goal of Turning Customers into Fans. This new role will bring experience and passion to providing the business market data analysis and updates, continuing Lidl’s curation of the perfect limited assortment product range, and finding routes to further accelerate the success of our Lidl Plus loyalty program. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to shape the future of Insight at Lidl and be in the centre of Lidl’s future growth.

Please note as per the Lidl internal structure, your job title will be "Senior Consultant".

At Lidl, we offer a hybrid working model to give you the best of both worlds. Spend three days or more in our state-of-the-art office, where you can enjoy an on-site gym, restaurant, and more of the perks you deserve. And with up to two days at home, you’ll find the work/life balance you need to thrive.

  • Identify and prioritise category opportunities, and lead strategic category management projects
  • Deliver regular business performance updates to senior stakeholders that inform, steer and inspire the business
  • Use a mix of datasets to fully explain market and customer dynamics, including blending panel data with internal KPIs and Loyalty metrics
  • Lead fellow insight colleagues as the senior member of the Shopper and Market Insight function within the CIX Department

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and deliver meaningful insights
  • Creativity and forward-thinking commerciality to quickly adapt to our high-pressured business environment and uncertain market conditions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivation, organisation, and the ability to work independently to achieve results
