What will you do?
- Assist in delivering a 5 year-roadmap to achieve 2025 targets, including a comprehensive resourcing plan to deliver on roadmap
- Provide insights in packaging reduction which ensures the same quality and safe shipment of our goods
- Facilitate the use of recycled content across our portfolio of products, packages and shipping cartons
- Assist Merchandising and factories in quoting packaging costs accurately and cost-efficiently
- Assist packaging department with creation and distribution of ‘Sustainable Packaging’ Style Guides specially sustainable packaging logos
- Holds Sustainable Packaging Workshops across the business to drive awareness to the overarching Sustainability Goals for packaging.
- Through data analysis drive through key stakeholders the most sustainable packaging ranges at the best price.
- Compile and communicate sustainability reports to demonstrate compliance with sustainability targets for packaging
- Drive the research for alternative materials and production menthods to achieve sustainability targets
- Capture and analysis all packaging and shipping materials used within the Supply Chain and produce alternatives for improvements
- Represent and lead within industry forums and collaborations. Attend forums, build relationships, and gather information to enable our 2025 targets
- Depending on operational requirements and business needs, the holder of this position might be tasked with additional projects upon request.
What will you need?
- Diploma with chemical /textile background
- Passion for sustainable solutions to resource management
- Expertise in cellulose and plastic packaging materials
- Familiar with the concept of ZDCH and management of hazardous chemicals
- Self-motivated, positive and able to communicate at all levels
- High degree of work ethics and integrity
- Independent, responsible and pro-active work style as well as the ability to work in a team
- Good command in English/Mandarin is a must and other languages is a plus
- Good PC knowledge (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Travel required
